Vacancy FMC accredited Family Mediator

The Relationships Service is seeking an experienced and accredited home-based mediator to join our team. A former Relate federated centre, we have been delivering family mediation for over 30 years. We have expanded to work across a large part of the Southeast region.

The service holds a Legal Aid contract and offers the Family Mediation voucher scheme.

Mediation – The Relationships Service

We welcome applicants able to deliver CIM (Child Inclusive Mediation).

Key Responsibilities:

Applicants must be qualified and FMC accredited to deliver mediation sessions for child arrangements, financial matters, and property disputes.

Provide CIM mediation (if qualified). 

Work with clients under Legal Aid as well as private clients, assessing eligibility and ensuring we obtain accurate documentation in line with the LAA contract.

Maintain high standards of professional practice in line with FMC guidelines.

Have proficient admin and IT skills.

Participate in regular PPC (Professional Practice Consultant) group meetings and meet CPD FMC requirements.

Ensure compliance with all relevant legal frameworks and adhere to the FMC code of practice.

Hold current DBS certification.

Remuneration

Our mediators choose when they work on a self-employed basis. In return for managing most of the administration of the case they receive 48.5% of all income generated. TRS Mediation Client Fees June 25. Access to PPC supervision and annual CPD events.
