Sex Therapy provides a confidential and non-judgmental space to explore concerns relating to sex, intimacy, desire and sexual wellbeing and work towards positive change.
Therapy sessions — whether online or in person — are talk-based. Your therapist will create a treatment plan tailored to your needs, which may include gentle exercises to complete between sessions. These always move at your pace, beginning with a sensual rather than sexual focus.
Our therapist may also recommend that you seek medical advice from your GP alongside therapy, especially if physical factors are contributing to the problem.
You can attend sessions alone or with your partner(s) — and you don’t need to be in a current relationship to benefit from PST.
Yes – you can attend individually, although couple exercises and couple treatment plans are usually put in place when both partners are present.
It varies, but many people see improvements in just a few sessions.
Our therapists are highly professional and experienced in putting people at ease when talking about sexual problems.
The Relationships Service is committed to providing affordable counselling services to everyone who needs them.
