Our Services

We offer compassionate support for individuals, couples, and families facing relationship challenges. Through counselling, therapy or mediation, our confidential approach helps you find tailored solutions and guides you toward healing and resolution. Relationship Counselling is for everyone. Whether you’re married, single, living together or apart, of any sexual orientation or whatever your sexuality may be. We can help you look at any relationship concerns and explore ways to help you move forward.

Individual Counselling

We offer individual counselling for those who want support with relationship challenges. This could be a current relationship, a past relationship or looking forwards to the future. We can help with communication issues, conflict resolution, trust and intimacy whilst helping you better understand your own behaviours. Others seek individual counselling as they reach a major life milestone or transition point in their life. This could be following bereavement, separation or divorce, changing careers or becoming a parent.

Couples Counselling

Couples/Polyamorous/Open Relationships

Whether you’re having problems in your relationship, or you’d just like to understand your partner or yourself better, talking things through with one of our counsellors can make a real difference.

One Session Therapy

One session therapy gives you the opportunity to spend one hour online with a counsellor to work in a very focused way on one area of your relationship. It is open to individuals attending on their own or two people with a shared goal. The two people do not need to be in a romantic relationship, for example two friends or parent with son or daughter.

You can book this particular service online Find a One Session Therapy appointment at a time to suit you or select Get In touch to speak with one of our administration team.

Psychosexual Therapy (PST)

Psychosexual Therapy (PST) can help you manage the physical and psychological difficulties that you may be experiencing with sex; this often results in bringing partners closer together.

The online or in person therapy sessions are talk based, and our therapist will devise a treatment plan tailored to your needs, giving you exercises to complete between sessions. These will always be at your pace and starting with a sensual not sexual focus. Our therapist may also advise you to seek help from your GP whilst you are undergoing the process. You can attend by yourself or with your partner(s) and you do not have to currently be in a relationship.

Compulsive Sexual Behaviour /Sex Addiction

Compulsive Sexual Behaviour can also be called hypersexuality or sexual addiction. It’s when there is an intense focus on sexual fantasies, urges or behaviours that have become unhelpful. This can cause distress and problems for health, job, relationships or other parts of life.

Family Counselling

Family & Young Persons

Family Counselling is a focused way to tackle specific relationship issues within a family group, whoever this group consists of. This could be small group of family members or a much larger group. Family members could include for example: Parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and blended family. It could be any type of family dynamic. Young Persons Counselling is for ages between 11 and 18 years.

Family Mediation

Family Mediation offers a safe, confidential environment for you to make arrangements for the future following the end of a relationship. This could include financial decisions about property, pensions or support payments. You may want to discuss where and with whom your children may live or when they may spend time with each of you. The Mediator will work with you to reach an agreement that is fair to all involved, these decisions will be recorded by the mediator, and each of you will receive a written summary of these.

The service is open to anybody affected by relationship breakdown including separation, divorce or dissolution of a civil partnership.

We welcome other family members including Grandparents who may be having difficulties with contact arrangements and even new partners.

The law now says that you must consider whether mediation can help before you can take your case to the family courts. This involves attending an information and assessment meeting with a qualified mediator called a MIAM. All our trained mediators are accredited by the Family Mediation Council Home – Family Mediation Council

Mediation could be free if you qualify for Legal Aid Check if you can get legal aid – GOV.UK and we are able to offer £500 of free mediation under the Government’s voucher scheme if you need to discuss arrangements for children. Family Mediation Voucher Scheme – GOV.UK

As well as Family mediation for parents or ex-partners we can also help with disputes between neighbours, colleagues and other family members.

For more information see our section “How we work”.
