Planning Together for Children (PTFC)

with The Relationships Service

The Planning Together for Children (PTFC) programme is a national initiative in England designed to help separated or separating parents focus on their children’s needs and reduce conflict. It is delivered on behalf of Cafcass by a group of 7 providers across the country.

Who the Programme Is For

Programme Components

1

Online E-Learning Course

A self-directed series of 8 short modules taking around 10 minutes each covering the impact of separation, communication, emotions, and the court process.

2

Live Online Group Workshop

Delivered usually via Zoom or Teams in small groups, focusing on reducing conflict, improving communication, and child-centred parenting. The group workshops are offered to mixed groups of parents in a two-and-a-half-hour session. There will be up to six parents in any one workshop. Parents will not attend the same group as the other parent of their children.

3

Our Child's Plan

A voluntary online parenting plan tool to help parents agree practical arrangements such as living arrangements and schooling. You have 5 weeks to complete parts 1 and 2.
